    Security on Clean Energy Investments

In any investment the first thing you want to know is what security is in place if things go wrong. Or if there is no security and it is a very risky investment, you need to be sure that the return warrants the risk.

With our Clean Energy Investments there are a few ways we secure investors funds, to limit the risk on their investment.

To begin with, we only invest in the right facilities and also plan ahead just in case the worst were to happen. Then, to ensure investors funds are locked in to a tangible asset, we stipulate that 80%-90% of investment capital must be used for asset purchases, ie; Land, machinery and equipment. We then put in place a floating charge, either over all of the facilities assets, or just the ones purchased with City FX Investment funds.

In the event of a liquidation of a CSP (Concentrated Solar Power) facility, if all other avenues have already failed. City FX Investment would have control over the facilities assets and would be able to recoup a large amount, if not all, of the investment capital.

This is a very extreme event and should hopefully never be required, but with large scale construction investments it is always good to have these in place. In addition, we ensure that any CSP facility that your investment is placed in has the backing and support it requires to get from planning to production, also that the production and profit forecasts are realistic and that energy companies are keen to take on supply from that particular plant.

With this due diligence and asset control in place, City FX Investment is able to provide a secure high return investment at a relatively low risk for investors.
